Position: Director of Sales
The successful incumbent within this role will be an outgoing and enthusiastic individual with a natural ability to connect and form relationships. Holding the responsibility of leading a team selling Holman’s products directly to other businesses and generating revenue to ensure the business’s success, this role demands someone who is organized with a strong sense of initiative and ability to work independently. Strong communication skills and proactive, strategic thinking will be crucial to success in this role.
Your job duties and functions are not limited to but include the following:
- Determine strategies for prospecting Clients in Retail, Tradeshow and Museums industries who would benefit from partnering with Holman.
- Develop and communicate targets for Sales team.
- Lead, mentor and coach a team of Sales Account Executives to achieve sales targets.
- Manage sales funnel and pipeline forecasts to ensure Operations team is aware of upcoming jobs.
- Continuously improve our Sales process – from prospecting to relationship growth.
- Coach Sales team to manage and grow existing client relationships.
- Understand market trends to identify and recommend changes to offerings.
- Effectively communicate with clients to understand their needs and guarantee their satisfaction.
- Be the voice of the Client within internal Holman meetings.
- Develop marketing strategies for Sales team to actively participate in social media, tradeshows, conferences.
- Collaborate with Holman team to plan for projects and identify required resources.
- Develop an expert knowledge of Holman’s products and services.
- Develop case studies based on completed Client projects.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal team and external clients.
- Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines.
- Follows all safety policies and procedures.
- Timely communication of ideas, issues or concerns to the President.
- Other projects, activities and duties as assigned.
Key Skill Set Requirements include:
- College/University degree or diploma.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Natural ability to build relationships and influence others.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task and juggle various projects effectively with a sense of urgency.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals from a sales perspective.
- Strong work ethic, highly organized, detail oriented.
- Ability to navigate various systems and platforms, including Microsoft Office suite.
