The work schedule for this position is:
- Full Time (40 hours per week)
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (three weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.
Duties
The incumbent is responsible for installation and maintenance of CAA and CAA-housed systems; implementation of system security; CLAN account management; and diagnostics and troubleshooting of LAN hardware, software, and the network backbone within the CAA. Additionally, the incumbent will be given tasks related to Post’s Information Programs Center (IPC) including classified network maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, inventory, shared acquisition duties, and cyber security related duties. Position requires irregular weekend and evening work, as well as the ability to physically lift up to 50lbs.
Qualifications and Evaluations
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in installing and troubleshooting of software applications and delivering customer or user support is required.
High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate is required.
LANGUAGE: Fluent level in English (speaking/reading) is required. "This may be tested"
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance; lift a weight of 50lbs to a height of three feet; intermediate ability to understand and use Microsoft applications and operating systems and basic computer operation/administration skills.

Acceptable documentation must be submitted in order for the preference to be given.
** This level of preference applies to all Foreign Service employees on LWOP and CS with re-employment rights back to their agency or bureau.
