Job Description

Landscape Concepts Management is seeking a highly-motivated and client-focused professional to join their growing Grayslake business as an Account Manager.

Our experienced and knowledgeable team of landscape professionals ensures a proactive, responsive approach and delivers quality in every facet of commercial landscape services: landscape maintenance, enhancements, tree removal, irrigation, turf, plant health care, seasonal color and snow removal. LCM is the Upper Midwest’s premier landscape contractor — We do more than maintain landscapes — our customized solutions “create landscapes for life”. We offer everything a commercial property needs to enhance curb appeal, promote occupancy, create distinction, and increase value.
The Opportunity

As an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
  • Build and foster relationships with LCM Clients and ensure satisfaction
  • Present recommendations for property improvements, proper horticulture procedures, and quality service within budget.
  • Manage all customer communication within client portfolio.
  • Partner with client to actively promote landscape enhancements to beautify existing properties.
  • Maintain a schedule for client/site visits to ensure quality and service expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Lead in the resolution of customer problems or concerns.
  • Achieve revenue, profitability, and contract renewal goals.
  • Ensure renewals of each current account within the customer portfolio.

  • 3+ years' experience in the landscape industry in an account management or similar capacity
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship building skills
  • Strong organization and conflict management abilities
  • Capacity to make critical judgments, solve problems and demonstrate careful attention to detail
  • Determination to exceed the goals of position, department, and company by working independently and as an effective leader.
  • Experience in managing enhancement sales and estimation
