Job Description
The fundamental purpose of this position is to work as a team member to visit customer accounts and build relations with accounts. You will be responsible for the development of the sales and customer base of all products and services offered within the assigned region.
Knowledge of lubricants preferred, industrial & energy experience a plus. Salary + additional compensation
Responsibilities
- Make customer visits regularly and manage customer accounts on an ongoing basis
- Develop and manage customer relationships for assigned regions to gain strategic positioning with decision makers, retain existing revenue and attain additional business
- Provide feedback reports to supervisor regarding customer contacts
- Operate in accordance with company policy and procedures
- Learn/Operate CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) with comfort and clarity
- Responsible for reaching out to potential new customers and growing in the local regions.
- Follow-up on customer quotations
- Review monthly budgets and expenses with the supervisor to meet company goals
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry groups
- Lubricant knowledge preferred; experience with frac and rigs a plus
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic email and PC functions
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Knowledge of common business practices relating to the purchase, pricing, terms, shipment, taxes, and payment for products and services
- Ability to learn and retain product specific information and utilize to position the features and benefits to the customer
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, competitive with strong organizational and interpersonal skills and a proven successful sales record
Travel: REQUIRED – Travel within the sales area-other travel may be required
