Fuzion Flooring – Commercial and Builder Specialist – Alberta (FULL TIME)
Reporting to – National Commercial Contract Manager

Under the direction the National Commercial Contract Manager, the Commercial and Builder Specialist will be responsible for meeting the sales targets as outlined by the organization. The incumbent in this role will be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals. Duties will include sales and product presentations as well as creating pricing schedules with clients. The Commercial and Builder Specialist will be calling on and developing first level relationships with the builders, developers, general contractors, designers, architects, and commercial contract dealers who specialize in floor covering.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management
- Develop and execute a customer-centric Territory Business Plan that aligns with Company objectives. Evaluate progress and modify plan based on marketplace knowledge and customer needs.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
- Initiate contact with potential customers through cold-calling or responding to inquiries generated from tenders and design community.
- Continually meet or exceed sales targets by persuading customers within an assigned territory to purchase company products.
- Perform regular follow-up calls or emails and facilitate communication with existing customers to ensure their satisfaction and identify new potential needs.
- Knowledge of the Fuzion product line and pricing with the ability to demonstrate technical understanding of the products.
- Prepare and submit sales activity reports.
- Provide regular feedback to the Regional Sales Manager on company marketing and product development needs as well as pricing recommendations.
- Ensure that brand awareness within an assigned territory meets company expectation.
Business Development
- Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Create first level relationships with key clients based on trust and respect.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and explain product value.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in flooring related industry is required.
- Degree is Sales, Marketing, Management, or another related field.
- Experienced in conducting presentations to small and large groups within the A&D community.
- Proven experience managing sales process within flooring industry.
