Job Description
We are looking for a high-performing Director of Sales focused on achieving optimal occupancy and ADR growth to maximize total revenue. This individual is responsible for providing sales leadership for top line revenue generation, including identifying, qualifying, negotiating and closing business, as well as client support, site visits and overseeing all event management.
Responsibilities
- Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts
- Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand customer base
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Partner with customers to understand their group needs and objectives
- Must possess highly developed verbal & written communication skills to frequently negotiate with clients
- Coordinate all group transient and catering sales solicitations and bookings to maximize revenue
- Create and develop special events and sales blitzes to showcase hotels to potential clients
- Raise awareness and reputation of hotel within their markets
Skills
- Previous sales experience required
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of Branded hotel requirements and hotel PMS systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
