Location: Head Office – Mississauga.

Employment Type: Full-time 40 hours/week – evenings and weekends may be required.

The Sales Manager is responsible for planning and managing territory activities to achieve sales and market share growth.
Main duties include:
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers in assigned territories through frequent customer visits and excellent communication.
- Promote actively the company’s products to both existing and potential customers, reps and distributors.
- Maintain an active client list and pursue new business contacts at every opportunity.
- Cold call, prospect and qualify companies within the defined region.
- Provide support to existing and potential customers.
- Help customers to identify and select appropriate company products.
- Attend to every customer to develop relationships and to ensure their satisfaction and to solicit new business opportunities.
- Assist customers in selecting products by preparing technical selections, diagrams, technical documentation etc.
- Give customer demonstrations and presentations in person and via webinars.
- General telephone and web-conferencing support for the Rosenberg Group’s range of products.
- Interact with other departments to ensure the correct handling of customer requirements.
- Liaise with consulting engineers, designers, major contractors, and distributors to promote Rosenberg aftermarket products.
- Create territory specific sales plans and budgets.
- Maximize sales and profitability by meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Assist the company in qualification of new customers.
- Maintaining clean and up to date accounts by providing prompt information on all customers, credit status etc.
- Support the company and customers in warranty claims.
- Provide sales and activity reports on timely basis.
- Attend trade shows to promote company’s products and services.
- Keep up to date with product knowledge.
- Stay informed about market and industry trends, competitors, and partners to ensure the company’s products remain competitive and well received.
- Inter- & Intra-province business travel to acquire customers and/or support existing clients.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- BA/BS in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC sales with a proven record of achievement.
- Experience in selling Air Solutions/Electrical/Technical/industrial/HVAC products is a MUST.
- Ability to self-motivate, multitask, and work independently or within a team.
- Effective communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to develop sales plans and targets.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be able and willing to travel within Canada and internationally.
