As a Sales Assistant your main duty will be to support sales activities throughout the dealership. In this role, you will support the sales team by greeting customers, answering inquiries, assisting with paperwork, and ensuring a smooth sales process. Essential Duties

• Completes dealer purchase or dealer transfer with approval of Sales Manager
• Contacts dealers for purchases or transfers
• Completes necessary paperwork to purchase or transfer vehicles from other dealers and complete transfers online
• Inspects vehicles to ensure they meet standards to complete the transfers
• Pre-delivery inspections completed, any recalls completed and any additional equipment (head phones, remotes) are with the vehicle
• Coordinates delivery with customer and walks them through the vehicle once it has arrived at dealership
• Reports vehicle sales to the brand once bill of sale has been signed
• Stays informed on current incentive rules and documentation requirements for each type of vehicle
• Claims incentives on brand website once verifying the proper documentation for such incentives and supplied and in the sale jacket
• Contacts customer when additional documentation is needed, per brand program rules, to complete the incentive claim process
• Transfers used vehicles through brand from one owner to the next via dealer connect
• Verifies used vehicle information to see if the vehicle qualifies per requirements for power train warranty transfers, if so, complete the transfer
