Job Description
Partners with the primary Global WWAM to develop commercial strategy for the Company's largest, most complex customers, focusing on international opportunities inclusive of international air freight, ocean, and complex parcel. Identifies opportunities for incremental international growth and executes appropriate sales strategies. Develops holistic supply chain solutions for customers and coordinates global implementation. Provides consultative support to other sales professionals on international selling issues
Essential Functions
- Provide strategic specialist support for the international air freight, ocean, and complex parcel shipping needs of the customer.
- Identify new international business and support/grow existing customers by offering holistic supply chain solutions.
- Collaborate with Global primary WWAM and Customer Success to discuss the customer’s supply chain with decision makers and other appropriate customer representatives, analyzing customer needs, and developing and implementing value propositions and customized pricing.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize and leverage e-commerce concepts, tools, and value drivers.
- Responsible for consistently growing revenue at a segment pace that exceeds that of the market/corporation
- Maintains regular and consistent communication with Global primary and peers within the Sales organization, related to joint sales call opportunities, lead generation, etc. in support of new/incremental revenue.
- Navigates internal, cross-functional processes to coordinate and collaborate on support and solutions with internal FedEx teams to provide a seamless and outstanding customer experience and close incremental business.
- Expert negotiation skills needed to offer both competitive market-based pricing and customized strategic pricing. Requires extensive knowledge of international products, supply chain logistics, and FedEx the Company’s international portfolio.
- Collaborates with sales peers, marketing, finance, operations, and other areas as appropriate in identifying issues and developing/implementing solutions to support retention/growth of revenue.

Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree/equivalent.
Minimum Experience
Five (5) years of business-to-business sales or related Company experience required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must be able to travel overnight.
Job Conditions
Moderate travel required.
Preferred Qualifications: Minneapolis, MN and major surrounding metro areas in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota will be considered.
Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay: $72,900 - $136,800
