Major Account ManagerLocation: Office in Rosemont, IL (Hybrid Schedule)
Territory: DeKalb to Dixon, Rockford, Ottawa, and many small towns in between.
Salary: Up to $90K base with UNCAPPED commission!

This is a unique position within the sales organization. Based on a recent acquisition, this salesperson will be responsible for retaining and growing a base of (SLED) local government, education, and healthcare accounts. Approximately 150 CAIs (community anchor institutions)

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and exceed quota and sales goals.
- Primary responsibility is growing ARPU (average revenue per user) to an existing SLED account base by introducing the company's Enterprise-class, high-touch, high-services model.
- Maintain relationships with existing accounts, delight existing customers, and manage/reduce any disconnect/churn.
- Be the face of our world-class customer care team.
- Utilize Salesforce to maintain accurate sales forecasting and to produce detailed activity reporting.
- Partner with Sales Engineers, Product and Solution Specialists, Customer Care groups, and other support groups when necessary to ensure ultimate customer satisfaction post-implementation.
- Ensure timely reporting to leadership whenever necessary.
- 5+ years of demonstrated sales success.
- Excellent understanding of how to strategically sell holistic IT/Telecommunication infrastructure.
- Provide a consultative approach to uncover client needs and negotiate costs and services.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to multitask while seeking new opportunities.
- Strong writing and speaking capability.
- Preferred 10+ years of demonstrated sales success.
- Expert sales-level expertise in the Telecommunications industry preferably with our core solution areas: Internet (DIA, Broadband), SD Wan, Voice, and Cloud connectivity. Preferably a candidate with SLED experience, based on a large base of existing customers.
