Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales to lead our sales team to new heights. This role is perfect for someone who is not only a natural at sales but also possesses the leadership skills to mentor and enhance our team's capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dive into the trenches with our acquisitions agents to lock in deals, especially in challenging situations.
- Develop innovative strategies to win over sellers and resolve complex property issues, including title discrepancies, code violations, squatters, probate matters, and more.
- Train and mentor the sales team, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to meet and exceed performance metrics.
- Listen to sales calls for quality assurance and provide constructive feedback to improve skills and conversion rates.
- Design and implement sales training programs to boost performance and ensure consistency across the team.
- Forecast sales targets and work diligently to meet and surpass these goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Cultivate a network of referral leads through effective brand exposure and relationship building.
- Attract self-generated sales talents to the company, reducing dependency on company-generated leads.
- Expand and refine our buyer pool to enhance the efficiency of the Dispositions department.
- Develop and optimize standard operating procedures for the sales department to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee the recruitment and hiring of top-notch talent within the sales team, ensuring a perfect blend of skills and personalities to complement our company culture.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of real estate and sales leadership experience.
- Proven track record in sales leadership, particularly in real estate or a related field.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a creative mindset to tackle complex property-related issues.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and lead a sales team to success.
- Experience in strategic planning and sales forecasting.
- Adept at developing and implementing sales training and procedural improvements.
- High emotional intelligence, with the ability to connect and interact effectively with diverse personalities.
- Must be an extroverted, Type-A dominant individual who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- 5+ years of residential real estate experience (REQUIRED)
- 2+ years of commercial real estate experience (PREFERRED)
