ProSlide is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Ottawa team and help us continue to win more business around the world. In this role, you will contribute to ProSlide’s global brand recognition and promote our value proposition through strong relationships as a trusted advisor with clients and channel partners.

The Business Development Manager would onboard with our Sales Enablement & Operations department to learn a solid foundation of how our sales processes and proposals contribute to our sales success. This would include working closely with Sales, Marketing, Ride Design & Master Planning Teams to ensure a superior customer experience in all we do.
YOUR CHALLENGE:
- Develop a deep understanding of our products, processes and be a trusted partner to our clients and sales team
- Contribute to preparing client presentations, proposals, and provide additional sales support as needed
- Study and become an expert on our internal sales processes
- Assist in responding to RFP’s, preparing quotations and developing agreements
- Track customer, partner and industry activities to ensure accurate up-to-the-minute forecasting of opportunities and other reporting requirements
- Champion and be a super-user of the CRM and other company sales tools, to ensure they are kept accurate through either direct entry or the training of users
- Continually build and maintain the sales pipeline and increase sales bookings through professional sales management, communications and processes.
- Support and contribute to sales strategies to achieve sales targets
- Develop and maintain key customer relationships
- Participate in regular sales reporting and sales bookings forecasting
- Maintain prospective/existing client records in Salesforce CRM
- Engage in business development activities such as calling leads, travelling to meet potential clients, and working with channel partners
- Monitor customer, and market activity to provide feedback to key internal stakeholders
- Participate in trade shows and other industry events
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:
- 3+ years of related B2B sales experience
- Prior experience in a product-based company is an asset
- Ability to travel internationally and on a regular basis
- Knowledge of water park industry, including competitive landscape and history a definite asset
- Must be able to communicate in English. Other languages are an asset.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to clearly and compellingly articulate our value proposition
- Collaborative/strategic selling skills and able to build an understanding of customers’ strategy and needs, and identify opportunities for partnership and ways to add value to the customer.
- Self-starter, sense of urgency and the ability to work independently/ remotely
- Organized and structured in managing pipeline, priorities and time effectively
- Demonstrated perseverance and resilience in the pursuit of targets.

- Strong interpersonal skills and effective collaborator across all department
