Kolbe & Kolbe Millwork Company, Inc. is recognized throughout the industry as a leader in the manufacturing of custom, superior quality windows and doors that can be found in some of the most visionary residences and commercial projects in North America. We are currently seeking an Architectural & Commercial Sales Consultant in the Kolbe Gallery Twin Cities.

Scope: The Architectural & Commercial Sales Consultant will be responsible for cultivating relationships and Kolbe brand awareness with those involved in relevant commercial projects (educational, multi-family, and light-commercial). These projects will be overseen by the Consultant, coordinating the quoting, ordering, logistics, project close-out items and ongoing customer satisfaction.

The Architectural & Commercial Sales Consultant will also devote resources to calling on residential architects as well, cultivating relationships and working towards getting Kolbe products specified into those designs. The Consultant will then pass those leads onto the appropriate Gallery sales staff for the completion of the sales process. The Consultant will work closely and regularly with the General Manager on all sales planning and execution. The territory includes Minnesota, portions of Iowa, Wisconsin, and North Dakota.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Represent Kolbe Gallery Twin Cities and Kolbe Windows & Doors with a comprehensive knowledge of our products and services and use a solutions-based sales approach to address the customers’ needs.
  • Assist project management with specification writing, architectural details, and performance ratings.
  • Research and reach out to key decision makers such as architects, designers, contractors, facility managers, and other relevant decision makers that may influence the specification and use of Kolbe Windows & Doors products.
  • Prepare and deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and continuing education courses for builders, general contractors, and architects.

Additional Responsibilities:

· Effectively communicate appointment outcomes, maintain contacts, and follow up on leads in CRM system.

  • Represent Kolbe Gallery Twin Cities at trade conferences, relevant shows and professional trade organizations needed.

· Stay up to date on all aspects of Kolbe windows and doors.

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

· Minimum 5 years of experience as an architectural consultant or a related sales position.

Qualifications:

· Excellent presentation skills with small and large groups.

· Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and active listening.

· Develop and maintain relationships at all levels of an organization.

· Read blueprints and complete take-offs.

· Respond to requests quickly and systematically.

· Handle multiple projects at one time, utilizing project management skills and tools to meet deadlines.

· Work some weekends based on customer demand, trade shows or special events.

· Lift samples and literature up to 50 pounds.

· Minimal overnight travel.

· Be proficient with Microsoft 365 applications and Zoho CRM.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
