Job Brief:

We're looking for a talented and video-savvy Social Media Specialist to take our clients' video content to the next level! This role focuses on developing and executing engaging short-form video strategies specifically for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. If you have a knack for catchy hooks, understand what makes a video go viral, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

We may not have enough work for a full-time social media specialist; we expected to have around 20 hours of work each week until we bring on more social clients. We are hiring for other positions, so a candidate that is able to handle account management, copywriting, content strategy, or SEO could work in a hybrid social media-"something else" role.

Responsibilities:

Content Planning & Ideation: Develop and maintain a content calendar for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram Reels/Stories, brainstorming creative and on-brand video concepts.
Scripting & Storyboarding: Write engaging scripts with attention-grabbing hooks, clear calls to action (CTAs), and relevant hashtags.
Filming & Editing: Handle all filming with a Sony Alpha ZV-E10 and oversee the editing process (you'll have an editor to edit for you, but you'll be filming).
Publishing Optimization: Craft compelling video descriptions, titles, and optimize videos for each platform.
Community Engagement: Actively respond to comments, interact with other accounts, and foster a vibrant online community.
Data & Insights: Track performance metrics, analyze trends, and adapt the video strategy based on insights.

Skills and Qualifications:

Required:

1+ years of experience in social media with an emphasis on video content.
Deep understanding of YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram best practices.
Excellent copywriting skills, with the ability to write snappy hooks and CTAs.
Passion for staying on top of trends and a desire to experiment with new formats.

Highly Preferred:

Comfortable speaking with clients
Enthusiasm about beauty and healthcare (we work with lots of med spas and plastic surgeons).

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000 annually, based on experience.
Competitive benefits package, including health insurance, PTO for full-time employees.
Collaborative and supportive work environment in our Cherry Hill, NJ office.

Note: This position is on-site. We embrace a collaborative working environment and value in-person interactions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
