Job Description
We are recruiting a Product and Sales Specialist to join one of our clients, a manufacturing company that also has offices in Asia and has been established for many years in the professional market.
Permanent, full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Communicate regularly with the Account Manager with regards to client activities, opportunities, and deadlines.
- Work closely with the customers, provide accurate updates and critical information in a timely manner.
- Handle sales-related administrative processes such as artwork follow-up, sample requests, item set-up, inventory reporting (consumption, slow movers, etc.), order status, quotes, etc.
- Request, track samples, and maintain internal sample binders.
- Complete file handover to operations, including web preparation and ensuring all data in the system is up-to-date and accurate.
- Contribute to the maintenance of client information in the CRM, ensuring key contact information is up to date.
- Work to build long-term relationships with client counterparts and influence the growth of accounts.
- Prepare and analyze reports to gain better insights into the needs and trends of their client base.
- Propose and implement improvements to current processes and tools to increase efficiency and client service.
- Stay up to date on new products and trends, propose new products and solutions to clients.
Requirements:
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in B2B sales support and/or product development in the packaging, labelling or apparel industries.
- A DEC or bachelor’s degree in fashion, business administration or another related field.
- Strong communication skills in English and spoken ability in French, to service the entire Canadian market.
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience with ERP and CRM software is a strong asset.
