About the job:
The Cortavo IT Account Manager will serve as the liaison between Cortavo and its clients. They have the responsibility to address customers’ needs and concerns as quickly and effectively as possible to develop and maintain strong relationships. They will also aid internal departments by collecting sales leads or testimonials, collecting payments on open invoices, and communicating pertinent client information needed to meet client requests and timelines.
The ideal candidate must have exceptional communication, computer, and problem-solving skills. This is a position for an experienced, resourceful, analytical, adaptable, and organized account professional with the ability to build strong rapport with clients.
This role reports directly to the Cortavo Sales Director.

This role reports directly to the Cortavo Sales Director.
Account Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact related to client needs and concerns
- Meet sales targets and revenue goals
- Meet renewal retention goals
- Leverage technical acumen to identify opportunities for cross-sell and upsell
- Maintain accurate pipeline on a weekly basis
- Partner with the engineering team to ensure client project requirements are met
- Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure highest client satisfaction rates
- Provide consistent feedback to internal Company departments to improve processes
- Facilitate in the invoicing and collections process
- Develop account plans and strategies
- Conduct technology business reviews with larger accounts
- Coordinate onsite client visits or lunches for local clientele
- Maintain updated knowledge of company sales offerings, products, and services
- Responsible for documenting activities, next steps, and status of accounts in Salesforce
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4+ years of account management experience
- Technical acumen for end user device sales
- Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with C-level executives
- Excellent active listening skills
- Impeccable multi-tasking capabilities
- Ability to work well with others at the Company
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt and strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with all tools within the Company tech stack
