The Role

As the first Solutions Engineer at Rhino, you will work cross-functionally to support Rhino’s property owner and management partners. This candidate must have experience implementing and managing Yardi and/or RealPage platform experience.


Reporting to the COO, you will engage and work with leading property management systems, property owners, property managers, and many more key players across the real estate industry. You will focus on implementing Rhino’s software within the workflows and property management systems of our partners. Internally, you will work collaboratively with the Product, Engineering, Growth, Account Management, and Revenue Operations teams during a pivotal stage of growth and contribute to strategic team discussions and processes.


In this role you will:

  • Work closely with property owner and management companies to implement Rhino into their leasing and move-in workflows
  • Provide stakeholders at partner companies a streamlined and supportive onboarding and account management experience
  • Work with the wider Growth, Engineering, and Product teams to provide real time and recurring updates, resources and knowledge to enable teams to interface seamlessly and directly with partners via support channels, external documentation, or product/feature feedback or development
  • Foster long term user relationships with existing and new partners to grow loyalty to Rhino products
  • Work cross-functionally both internally and within partner organizations to provide and implement operational solutions across product adoption and expansion
  • Create partner-facing content for staff training, renter education, and more

In terms of qualifications, we’re seeking:

  • 4 years experience in client-facing work in a collaborative team-oriented environment
  • Deep experience implementing and managing Yardi and/or RealPage platforms with property management companies
  • Familiarity with additional property management systems, including Appfolio, RentManager, MRI and/or Entrata
  • Familiarity with property management processes, including leasing and accounting
  • Technical troubleshooting skills and comfort interfacing with technical teams
  • Ability to lead complex integration conversations in a highly consultative and proactive manner
  • Familiarity with APIs and be able to explain API concepts to Rhino’s largest and most technical customers
  • Experience in medium to large scale project management
  • Familiarity with SQL and comfort building basic queries and modifying more complex ones (a plus)
  • Ability to prioritize and respond to fluctuating, high-impact, urgent asks from multiple channels including Slack, video conference, email, in-person, etc
  • Thoughtful in approaching problems and able to develop strategic solutions for the long-term

Benefits:

Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000


Rhino has partnered with a number of compensation benchmarking tools to determine competitive and fair market pay bands for our size and stage. Our goal is to ensure each employee is paid equitably and competitively while also maintaining a consistent and standardized methodology.

Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors including qualifications for the role, experience level and balancing internal equity relative to other Rhinos.
