As a Strategic Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in onboarding, nurturing, and expanding our merchant relationships, ensuring their success and satisfaction through effective communication, support, and upselling. Responsibilities:


  • Implement New Merchant Accounts: Guide new merchants through the onboarding process, assisting with necessary documentation and setup to ensure a smooth transition onto our platform.
  • Train Merchants on SkySystemz Software and Hardware: Provide comprehensive training to new merchants on the features and functionalities of SkySystemz Software and Hardware, ensuring they are equipped to make the most of our platform.
  • Upsell Various SaaS Features: Identify opportunities to enhance merchant accounts by introducing and explaining additional value-added services (SaaS features) that align with their business needs, thereby contributing to revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with Support Staff: Collaborate closely with our support team to address and resolve merchant inquiries, technical issues, and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Proactive Merchant Communication: Regularly reach out to merchants to offer support, address questions, and build strong relationships, enhancing client satisfaction and retention.
  • Drive Client Retention: Employ your expertise to ensure that merchant accounts remain active and engaged by understanding their evolving requirements and providing tailored solutions.
  • Gather Referrals and Testimonials: Leverage your exceptional customer relationship skills to gather referrals from satisfied merchants and obtain testimonials that can be used for marketing and promotional activities.

Qualifications:


  • Four year Bachelor degree or equivalent.
  • (Preferred but not required) Proven experience in account management, customer success, or a related client-facing role.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with merchants, internal teams, and partners.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner.
  • Problem-solving attitude with the ability to proactively identify and address merchant needs.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented, with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to learn and Proficiently utilize Hubspot and various internal software platforms.
  • Availability for occasional travel to meet with merchants onsite.
