Job Description
DESCRIPTION:
The Sales Support Specialist role requires an individual to work with sales team to enhance the customer’s experience by providing best supply chain solutions and address customer’ concerns with sales team. This position will be providing assistant for the quotation, contract filing, gathering customer data, and increasing customer loyalty. Successful candidates are well versed in building relationships internally and externally.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communication
- Support sales team to build and manage relationships with key decision-makers within assigned accounts to ensure development of long-term business partnerships.
- Support sales team to expand customer value to JUSDA SCM by increasing customer loyalty and improving key profitability metrics.
- Keep appropriate people across JUSDA SCM informed of account activities by using various forms of communication to the assigned list of customer accounts.
Account Management
- Review and maintain contract accuracy includes updates of contracts, contacts changes, quotation, and pricing within assigned accounts.
- Support sales team to identify opportunities and leverage JUSDA full menu of services within business development strategy plan to maximize JUSDA SCM value with sales team.
- Support sales team to monitor the assigned account performance closely with all function's support teams.
Leadership
- Understanding the roles and responsibilities of the sales operation to ensure satisfactory customer service & experience.
- Participate activities across multiple JUSDA SCM functional teams, exchange ideas, and provide supports for account management initiatives.
- Share relevant market trends and work together with sales team to provide benchmarking information to the assigned list of customer accounts during internal meetings.
- Participate the learning programs for sales and sales operation team members.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Required
- At least 2 years of experiencing with Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
- Strong aptitude for analytics and attention to details.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proven ability to generate and implement creative & innovative solutions to problems/opportunities.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize and meet deadlines, and able to handle multiple demands efficiently.
- Proficient in the MS Office Suite.
Preferred
- BA/BS degree
- Knowledge of freight operation
- Experience of account management
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application, such as Salesforce.
