Inside Sales Associate
REPORTS TO: President CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

SUMMARY OBJECTIVE
An Inside Sales Associate is responsible and accountable for achieving the established sales goals, customer satisfaction, profitability of quotes and sales metrics established by the management team. This position is expected to increase market share by generating and following up on customer prospects. Initiating, building, and maintaining relationships with customers ensuring business opportunities are developed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Prospects new leads and identify and qualify key decision makers that turn into new sales opportunities.
- Creates immediate relationships through various means of communication (phone, email, social media) and deliver effective sales pitch to move prospective leads to clients.
- Remains actively engaged in follow up to ensure the personal approach to educating on company products and services.
- Responsible for actively generating leads to create business opportunities in underrepresented industries within the current business portfolio.
- Identifies, develops, and secures sales opportunities through prospecting and relationship building. Accountable for meeting established profit margins.
- Provides high quality customer service to internal and external customers, working collaboratively with Management team and attending sales meetings. Provides written reports on customer visits.
- Meets GES-AGM performance metrics goals and delivers results in accordance with management directives.
- Tracks and maintains all quote documentation to support the sales forecasts and company objectives via sales CRM.
- Will participate in technical training with sales team during the first year. Provides high-touch trouble shooting and customer follow up to resolve conflict and secure business.
- Works collaboratively on marketing strategy and remains on top of current trends and emerging markets within the industries the company serves to support the building and expansion of the business.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 3-year sales/customer service experience, in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proficiency with a CRM system for activity reporting and Microsoft Office suite.
- Competitive, strong desire to drive business success.
- Proven ability to assimilate new information quickly.
