Job Objective/ Summary
Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards, and guidelines related to employment with The Estates. Occasionally supports sales presentations by assembling quotations, proposals, videos, slide shows, demonstration, and community brochures. Prepares mailers and brochures by formatting content, arranging printing. Maintains marketing library by checking and replenishing inventory; includes office supplies for the department. Maintains and records all advertising and materials. Proficient in Office, including Excel is beneficial.
This position is often the “face” of marketing and must be able to multi-task all while answering the phone and greeting guests with a smile.
Maintain a marketing calendar of events and appointments for the community. Will manage the RSVP for sales & marketing events at the community. In the absence of the Director of Sales or Sales Counselor, may give community tours, commence a sales contract, or collect deposit checks. Prepare, complete, and audit all documentation required during the sales process for the Director of Sales and Sales Counselor. Communication and coordination of internal and external moves with perspective residents, family members, community dept heads and moving companies. Responsible for maintaining, updating, and distributing weekly, monthly and quarterly marketing reports. May attend specific community meetings for keeping informed and exchanging information regarding the wellbeing of residents and the community. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in word-processing skills; great communication skills, both verbal & written. Proficiency with older adults preferred. Sales/marketing or transferable clerical experience preferred. Physical and Environmental Requirements: The Physical activities of this position involve: Balancing Kneeling Reaching Crouching Pulling Standing Manual Dexterity Pushing Stooping Grasping Lifting up to 40 lbs. Sensory and communicative activities with or without prosthetics of this position are: Hearing Seeing Speaking and Writing.
An individual in this position will be exposed to: Inside and outside environmental conditions Bloodborne pathogens (low risk) Respiratory pathogens Must be able to cope with mental and emotional stress of this position.
Requirements
- Must successfully pass the mandated criminal background checks.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Must be able to pass the pre-employment reference checks.
- Must be able to provide official grade transcripts of the education level provided on the employment application.
- Must be able to provide a copy of his/her own social security card for W-4 documentation.
- Must be able to provide applicable documentation(s) for I-9 in order to establish identity and authorization to work in the U.S.
- Must have valid driver’s license, personal automobile liability insurance, and acceptable driving record (if required to drive).
