Job Description:
This inside sales position is responsible to drive sales globally which involves promoting the company precision products to prospective clients, resellers, and bringing on board new accounts and developing new growth opportunities.
The Inside Sales, Account Manager will be accountable for:
· Develop, search and identify technical product sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts and soliciting new accounts for ComNav precision product lines
· Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
· Prepare competitive sales quotations, tenders, & proposals to meet customer requirements & deadlines
· Follow up sales quotations, tenders, & proposals in a timely manner to secure orders to meet sales & gross margin targets; maintain and expand database of prospects
· Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
· Closes new accounts by answering telephone, email inquiries and verifying and entering orders, communicating expected delivery date, develops accounts by reviewing buying history, and suggesting new product sales
· Establish, develop, & maintain long-term customer relationship
· Support marketing activities by attending tradeshows as required
· Prepare sales reports to contribute to overall business strategy
· Serve as product expert by knowing competition, technological trends, and ability to conduct market / competitor intelligence research with the purpose of identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities
· Develop sales tools, collateral material
· Develop and execute customized sales programs
· Develop and deliver sales presentations to prospective customers as needed
· Perform product demos to new and existing customers, decision makers, & buyers as needed
· Interact with social media and digital marketing to drive sales and business development
· Support the marketing communications programs to drive sales
· Any other sales and/or marketing related task approved and directed by the Sales & Marketing Mgr.

Requirements:
· 3+ years of relevant experience in a related technical sales position with proven track record of selling, preferably in GNSS or equivalent precision product sales or marine industry product sales
· Strong time management skills w ability to prioritize and work on multiple sales development to exceed targets
· Strong computer skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, & ERP software
· Sales and/or marketing equivalent post secondary education, preferably a degree in business adminsitration
· Engineering / Technical sales background preferred
· Ability to travel as required; valid driver licence
· Positive attitude
