Title: District Manager

Reports To: Regional Sales Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt

Department: Frontline Sales

Direct Reports: Account Sale Managers, Field Support Specialists

The District Manager’s main priority is managing and leading a group of Account Managers that are accountable for in-store execution through a set group of key customers. The District Manager will also be responsible for coaching and developing their respective team. District Managers are accountable for driving Red Bull initiatives and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through a set group of key customers.

Matador Distributing, LLC is the fifth largest distributor in the United States. It began operations in March 2000 in Atlanta, GA. Georgia warehouse locations include Atlanta, Lawrenceville, Rossville, Byron, Conyers, and Cartersville. The North Carolina warehouse is located in Asheville. Matador operates 100 routes that service over 8,000 customers throughout Atlanta Metro, rural Georgia, Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Asheville, North Carolina with a team of over 200 employees and counting.

Responsibilities:

· Manage Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets for each assigned Account Manager and track the execution of these monthly KPI’s. This includes feedback/coaching, corrective counseling, and performance reviews.

· Establish and maintain regular and on-going communications with retail partners in order to successfully implement national and local programming.

· Teach Account Managers selling skills, including cold-calling, overcoming objections and using retail math skills.

· Conduct regular Account Manager meetings to improve operational expertise and recognize results.

· Work collaboratively across the organization and share best practices.

· Ensure the Account Manager team understands and adheres to Company standards and operating procedures

· Bring a sense of urgency and commitment along with desire to get things done

Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:

· 3 - 5 yrs experience in DSD management, including proven track record of meeting exceeding assigned sales objectives

· 2+ yrs management experience in sales environment

· Excellent communication skills, including ability to present one-on-one and in a group

· Ability to regularly lift and move 25 lbs over your head

Pay: $65,000.00 per year
