Extremely popular and actively growing pizza concept is seeking a high-energy, experienced, and self-driven Director of Catering to join their team! This role will be responsible for building out a robust catering program for the entire brand, growing sales, and implementing efficient catering systems and processes for all new and existing locations. Other responsibilities include hands-on operational support on-site, creating and maintaining client & vendor relationships, and promoting professional growth within the team. Someone with a strong rolodex who can drive sales and expand the already successful catering arm of the business is ideal. This role will work a flexible schedule that is primarily Monday-Friday, with 1-2 days per week out of the corporate office in West Hollywood. Candidates must have flexibility to travel to existing locations as needed, and also be on-site for events as business dictates. Director of Catering Responsibilities:

Develops and implements a robust, streamlined catering program company-wide, including but not limited to: comprehensive catering service, marketing plans, menu offerings, systems and procedures
Participates in employee meetings, reviews, and training programs
Setting up and improving catering systems for all store locations so they can be replicated for future openings
Local outreach and driving sales
Attend events, festivals, and other off-site catering functions as needed
Maintain accurate and up to date records of all sales functions and transactions and implement systems to streamline this process
Must communicate and work closely with the operations team to drive sales and expand the catering business
Ensures successful operations of catering functions including labor cost control, foods cost control and preparation, transportation, setup, operation, and cleanup
Manages in compliance with Company established policies and procedures
Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
Responds in a timely manner to customer issues and resolves complaints
Maintain effective communication, direction, support, timely feedback and recognition of performance
Provides support and coaching to team members to drive high levels of performance, job satisfaction, and personal growth
Maintains food cost while ensuring quality standards
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business dictates

Director of Catering Qualifications:

Minimum 3-5+ years of progressive experience as a Director of Catering, Senior Catering Manager, Catering Sales Manager, Catering Operations Manager, or comparable role with a respected, preferably high-volume catering and/or events company
Off-site catering experience is highly preferred
Experience managing and training teams across multiple locations
Strong catering sales experience with proven success in achieving sales goals
Experience in accurate forecasting, and preparation of sales plans and financial reports
Must be able to create and maintain a team atmosphere company-wide and ensure that management is appropriately trained on catering processes and procedures
Must be very detail-oriented & can prioritize multiple tasks at once
Quick to think on the fly and can swiftly come up with solutions to unexpected issues
Able to multi-task and remain organized in a very fast-paced environment
Diplomatic team player able to foster relationships with FOH and culinary teams, clientele, and vendors
Can easily adapt to the dynamic needs of a multi-faceted business
High-energy with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong PC skills with a working knowledge of including but not limited to MS Excel, MS Word, MS Office, and Outlook
Highly organized and creative
Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate in a crossfunctional setting
Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays as needed for special circumstances
