Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background and experience in 1031 exchanges specifically, or in real estate or tax and who excels at sales. The ideal candidate should thrive in a business development position growing 1031 exchange Qualified Intermediary referrals in a sales territory backed by the support of an established industry-leading parent company.

The objective of the Division Manager sales position is to promote Asset Preservation Inc.’s (API) 1031 exchange Qualified Intermediary (QI) services so that we become the recognized leader in the territory, thereby significantly increasing new open exchanges in the territory.

The Division Manager is responsible for promoting API’s 1031 exchange QI services to accountants, attorneys, closing officers, commercial brokers, financial advisors, residential agents, real estate investors and others in the real estate and tax industries. The Division Manager must have a strong work ethic, specifically with a focus on producing results quickly and must be goal-oriented. They must be a self-starter with initiative, excellent people skills and excel in public speaking and educating others on the wide range of investment options available under Section 1031. Business development efforts will encompass providing 1031 exchange classes and workshops to the investment real estate community, representing API at real estate events, networking and other activities needed to build ongoing relationships within the real estate industry.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate would have 1031 exchange QI experience and, at minimum, have 5+ years of experience in real estate and/or tax.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote API’s 1031 exchange QI services through various sales and marketing activities to maximize API’s revenue and market share.
  • Must be a sales leader who executes a strategic sales plan to drive significant new 1031 exchange business and achieve sales targets.
  • Accountable for the performance and sales results in a territory.

Compensation:

  • Base salary plus monthly commission based upon production.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
