Kiser’s Floor Fashions Carpet One in Memphis, TN is looking to hire a Sales Consultant to join their dynamic team. What We Offer:
  • Hourly Rate: $15 + Commission
  • Full Time:40 hrs./5-day work week (Monday – Saturday: required to work 2 Saturdays a month)

Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding service to determine customer’s overall design needs
  • Build client relationships and ensure to follow up on all jobs to ensure customer satisfaction and/or gain new project leads
  • Schedule consultation appointments to meet with clients within the showroom or their home/workplace
  • Keep up to date on the wide selection of products and services provided
  • Gather space/area measurements, calculate number of materials needed for project, create and present project proposals to clients for approval, provide any floor sample suggestions, schedule installation team, and ensure quality control for active projects
  • Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications, availability, and place order of materials for active projects
  • Maintain showroom by keeping samples, displays and common areas neat, current, and clean

Desired Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ proven work experience in Retail Sales, Interior Design, Outside Sales, or similar role
  • Must have a valid driver’s license & reliable form of transportation
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in communications, business management, interior design, or a similar field a plus
  • Basic computer/social media knowledge and math skills
  • Utilize various forms of communication to follow up with vendors/suppliers & clients
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision, yet within a team setting
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Strong personal and professional judgment
  • Ability to adapt and respond quickly to customers’ needs and wants
  • Strong organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority
  • Ability to achieve sales goals effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Advanced time management skills and detailed oriented
  • A positive attitude and desire to exceed expectations
  • Knowledge of floor plan drawings & creating project estimates a plus (Willing to train)
  • Knowledge of flooring & design industry a plus (Willing to train)
  • Knowledge of RFMS a plus (Willing to train)
