American Trading International, Inc (ATI) is currently seeking an Account Manager to join our Asia team in Los Angeles, CA.

We are seeking long-term growth and career-minded rock stars to join our Sales team! American Trading International, Inc. (ATI) is a service-oriented export trading company providing domestic and international companies the opportunity to import and export products to new and existing markets. ATI exports USA food and beverages to over 80 markets worldwide.

We are looking for an Account Manager who will be responsible for sales within a specific regional geography focusing on new customer acquisition, customer retention, and growth opportunities with the current customer base.

Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Interface with customers at their first- and second-line management levels for annual budgeting and sales forecasting.
  • Negotiate with customers on the prices and portfolio.
  • Responsible to ensure adequate stock availability with the customer and retail on shelf 24/7
  • Coordinate with the logistics function to ensure timely clearing and delivery of product.
  • Responsible for debt recovery and provides support to accounting team for reconciliations.
  • Analyze market trends to provide input for new Brand evaluations.
  • Support and prepare for all ATI trade events (shows, missions etc).
  • Provides insights from knowledge acquired through multiple data sources such as Essbase, EPOS, Market reports (AC Nielson, ROI) and devising key account plans.

Account Manager Requirements:

  • Positive and collaborative attitude.
  • Bachelor’s degree in management administration, finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the food & beverage/CPG industry and/or equivalent experience
  • Experience in a complex sales environment, managing demanding customer accounts.
  • In-depth understanding of sales performance metrics and KPI’s
  • Deliver clear and compelling value propositions to customers/partners.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Availability to travel as needed.
  • Fluent in Mandarin is a plus!

Account Manager Pay:

Commensurate with experience, you will be paid $67,000 – $80,000 annually.

ATI provides full-time employees with a range of benefits, including, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, voluntary benefits, and flexible spending accounts, matching 401k, profit-sharing, plus thirteen days of accrued PTO per year and eight (8) company paid holidays.
