Job Summary:

As the Sales and Event Coordinator, you will assist with driving sales growth and coordinating events to ensure successful client experiences. Your role involves building and maintaining client relationships, managing event logistics, and collaborating with various departments to deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Sales:

· Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored event solutions.

· Prepare and present proposals and contracts to clients.

Event Coordination:

· Work with Event Sales Manager to coordinate and assist all aspects of events, to ensure seamless experiences for clients and attendees.

· Collaborate with clients to define event objectives, themes, and specific requirements.

· Assist with public event planning, including researching and scheduling vendors and entertainment.

· Client Relations:

· Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly.

· Provide exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.

· Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.

· Schedule Tours and appointments

· Conduct property tours

Budget Management:

· Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.

· Collaboration:

· Work closely with internal departments, including catering, operations, and marketing, to ensure all aspects of events are coordinated effectively.

· Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and sponsors to enhance event offerings.

· Assist in developing creative events

Administrative Tasks:

· Handle general administrative duties, including answering phones and managing emails.

· Prepare and distribute internal and external communications.

· Maintain office supplies and equipment.

· Professional written and verbal communication with clients, suppliers, and colleagues

· Process payments

· Order supplies and schedule vendors

Documentation:

· Maintain accurate records of client interactions, contracts, and event details.

· Prepare and distribute event-related documents, such as BEO’s, timelines, schedules, event signage and floor plans.

Requirements:

· Proven experience in Marketing, Hospitality, Event Management, or related field preferred

· Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

· Excellent communication skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

· Weekend availability, when needed

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
