Job Description
The Account Manager to Hill Fire Protection (“HFP”) division of The Hill Group (“Hill”) liaises closely with the Operations Manager, Senior Account Managers, and the Account Managers to assist in the accomplishment of department goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adheres to policies and procedures and helps update and improve them
- Perform sales calls with new prospective customers
- Performs sales presentations to new and existing customers
- Secure new inspection accounts and new service customers
- Collaborate with service department manager to meet sales goals
- Provide timely and accurate estimates for customers
- Seeks out competitive vendors and services to ensure competitive bids while maintaining approved profit margins
- Assembles price-out materials, labor, freight, and any other costs required for a complete estimate
- Prepares scope/quotation letters
- Learns and maintains knowledge of NFPA 25 requirements in preparation to present and provide quotes.
- Performs timely follow-up on bids, quotes, and deficiency quotes.
- Maintains accurate bidding activity in PENTA platform.
- Works with service department manager and service superintendent to understand all aspects of the project being proposed to ensure company required profit margins are met and all material and equipment is considered.
- Participates in planning meetings, provides guidance and assistance to the customer throughout the project
- Manages multiple large service accounts
- Actively manages the projects in a collaborative effort with the service manager and service superintendent
- Performs other duties as assigned
Experience and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction Management, Business Management, or related major
- Internship experience preferred
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)

- Requires an ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure and adjust to changing situations
- Requires initiative, great attention to detail, accuracy, an ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have excellent interpersonal and customer services skills, and maintain a positive attitude while dealing professionally with co-workers, clients, vendors, etc.
- Must be able to work independently with limited supervision while still being a team player
- Must be dependable, organized and self-motivated

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
