Job Description
National Oak Distributors is seeking a Field Scheduler in our West Palm Beach office. You will work closely with our Inside Sales Supervisor, Field Specialist Managers and the field specialist team to schedule field appointments and account management visits. Think of it as being similar to a dispatcher in a busy courier company, scheduling site visits and building the most efficient route. Additionally, you will be responsible for answering calls from our field sales team and assisting them over the phone.

About the Opportunity
Are you the ‘go to’ phone person in the office? The one who typically schedules the CEO or BDM’s calendar and keeps things running smoothly? Do you like to speak with multiple field sales team members and assist them over the phone?
If yes, chances are you’d make a great field scheduler!
As our Field Scheduler, you’ll work closely with our Inside Sales Supervisor, Field Specialist Managers and the field specialist team to schedule field appointments and account management visits. Think of it as being similar to a dispatcher in a busy courier company, scheduling site visits and building the most efficient route. Additionally you will be responsible for answering calls from our field sales team and assisting them while over the phone.
You won't be required to sell or have technical knowledge about our products —that's the job of the Sales and Field teams. But you will be required to jump on the phone to schedule visits and keep things running smoothly. Additionally you will act as a “Liaison” between our field team and CRM – entering data into the CRM on the field’s behalf. Here's what we're looking for:
- At least 2 years office experience. You have previously worked in an office and/or trade sales environment
- Organizational and coordination skills. It’s one thing saying you’re organized, and another truly being organized
- Strong communicator. You are comfortable talking to people on the phone
- Computer skills. You know your way around general office tools like MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) You have probably used a CRM in the past, preferably Salesforce.com
- Ability to work with others. We’re a team and we’d like someone that is a good personality fit and can communicate easily within the department and outside
- Upbeat and Positive Personality. We’re a positive team and keeping upbeat and positive while on the phone with our field sales team is a must.

Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday with flexible hours ranging between 7:00 am to 8:00pm EST as defined by business need.
