Job Description
Regal Rexnord is seeking a Contractor Engagement Specialist working in our Power Efficiency Solutions business who will be responsible for leading and driving sales growth of our broad line of HVAC/R aftermarket electric motors and indoor air quality products at targeted contractors.
PES is one of three operating segments with approximately $1.7 Billion in revenue and produces electric motors, variable speed controls, and air moving solutions which are sold in the residential heating and ventilating, water heating, commercial refrigeration, pump, leisure water, and other OEM and aftermarket products. Brands include Genteq® motors, as well as Fasco®, Elco®, DEC Star®, Leeson, motor and blowers.
Responsibilities:
- The Contractor Engagement Specialist will work as a subject matter expert and a champion for Regal Rexnord Evergreen ECM replacement motors and our newly released IAQ products.
- Working under the direction of a District Sales Manager, creates excitement and opportunity with our Sales Professionals and our customers around converting contractor preference to Regal Rexnord solutions.
- Identifies opportunities, including targeted geographies, targeted contractors, targeted Sales Professionals, training and selling to all with the ultimate measure being specific contractor wins.
- Achieve and maintain trust and confidence of all internal functions, adding team value and achieve goals.
- Achieve annual objectives comprised of a sales objective, contractor conversions, contractor retention and contractor engagements.
- Maintain conduct in accordance with Regal Rexnord vision, mission, values, initiatives and company policies.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of relevant experience
- 3+ years industry sales experience
- Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- High level of personal initiative and ownership of results
- Strong computer skills – Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Teams)
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Must reside in territory
Desired Qualifications:
- HVAC/R industry experience, experience as an HVAC contractor / technician
- Demonstrable track record of strong commercial leadership and achievement of sales goals
- Experience with CRM and forecasting tools
- Experience with concepts of 80/20 and Lean Management
