Our Company is seeking qualified, outgoing individuals for positions as an Outside Electrical Equipment Sales throughout Louisiana.

An Electrical Equipment Sales Representative is responsible for developing New sales business in the assigned area. A New Equipment Sales Representative is also responsible for maintaining and improving relationships with existing and potential customers.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Sales Opportunity Detection
- Closing Profitable Orders
- Building Customer Relationship
- Sales Channel Development
- Achieving Assigned Sales Quota
- Producing Year-over-Year Sales Growth
- Identify research and secure new business opportunities utilizing prospecting skills and community/business networkingtoquote projects, increase revenue and improve margins. Follow the sales cycle from beginning to end including initial contact, client needs analysis, development of proposals and presentations, and closing the deal.
- Develop sales strategy in concert with distinct business plans, utilizing a strategic planning process that encompasses company, market and industry trends in order to ensure coordination of efforts to achieve goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local electrical contractors, electrical engineers, telecommunications accounts, medical facilities, industrial facilities, call centers, cities and municipalities, utility contractors and many other potential accounts.
- Identify and coordinate industry related trade shows to increase company awareness and prospect potential clients.
- Utilize customer database CRM system for account management and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated electrical industry sales success will also be considered
- Minimum 5-years outside Electrical sales experience
- Track record of achieving 7-digit sales quota
- Technical experience in electrical equipment
- Commercial sales experience calling on electrical contractors, distributors, and consulting engineers
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills
- Candidate must be a self-starter and possess a strong sense of urgency, integrity & drive for success.
- Proven selling ability & PC skills are required. Prior experience in utilizing sales automation tools for lead generation and tracking sales process to closure.
- This is a technical position and an ability to learn, understand and competently communicate complex situations is required.
- Excellent customer follow-up, attention to detail, strong organization and efficient time management skills are required.
Compensation is base salary plus commission. The successful candidate has the potential to earn with no earnings limitations. Our best Sales Representatives earn in excess of $100k annually. Your salary will be based on your own motivation to succeed.
