Summary Job Description:

This position assists with daily sales for Fasteners Direct. Lead Development will seek to develop high quality B2B (Business to Business) Sales Appointments and follow up on quotes through phone calls and E-mail. The On-Site Sales Consultant will obtain the order, satisfy the customers’ requirements, introduce, and sell FD Systems and confirm the orders are being delivered as promised. React quickly, accurately, and competently to all customer requests. Develop an ongoing and strong relationship with the customer, and the rest of the FD Sales Team.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Through phone and email communication, qualify new business opportunities and book appointment/demos for outside sales visits.
  • Deal directly with customers either face to face, by telephone or electronically.
  • Collaborate with Fasteners Direct’s Marketing and Sales Teams
  • Co-ordinate with Sales Manager on account activity
  • Research and develop leads and procure quotes for new customers.
  • Work with Customer Service to respond promptly to customer inquiries (quote processing and order entry).
  • Follow up on key quotes, upsell and cross sell.
  • Work with customers to develop positive relationships
  • Receives, researches and answers customer inquiries.
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments, including reporting of all customer visits
  • Develop new business with existing customers and/or identify areas of improvement to exceed sales quotas.
  • Become familiar with accounts; stay on top of their orders and be prepared to answer telephone inquiries immediately.
  • Coordinates customer returns and completes proper documentation on a timely basis

· Ability to absorb and retain pertinent client and sales-lead information

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent
  • 2 Years Minimum Sales and/or Marketing Experience
  • Proficiency in PC applications Windows, Excel and InxSql
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Ability to use a Laptop Computer and a Scanner
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
