At LYNX, we believe in fostering personal growth and are seeking a dedicated Inside Sales Supervisor to lead our expanding sales team.
Job Overview:
The Inside Sales Supervisor will be responsible for managing and mentoring the inside sales team, collaborating with field sales teams, and overseeing product sales management. This role will drive revenue growth by ensuring efficient sales processes, enforcing policies, and implementing strategic sales initiatives. You will play a key role in managing daily operations, guiding the team toward success, and ensuring alignment between inside and field sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inside Sales Team Leadership & Management:
- Coach, train, and motivate the inside sales team to meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Oversee the team's daily activities, providing guidance on time management and task prioritization.
- Enforce company policies and processes, ensuring the team adheres to best practices in sales and customer service.
- Monitor team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Strategic Collaboration with Field Sales/Managers:
- Coordinate route maps and appointment setting for field sales specialists to optimize efficiency.
- Work closely with field sales teams and managers to streamline processes and enhance communication.
- Align inside and field sales strategies to ensure a consistent customer experience and to drive sales results.
- Product Sales Management:
- Oversee pricing strategies, margin management, and ensure accurate quoting.
- Develop and implement closing strategies to increase conversion rates.
- Manage the CRM system and quote register to track performance and maintain an upward trend in closure rates.
- Ensure timely follow-up on quotes to maximize closure and revenue.
Key Metrics for Success:
- Quoting and closing dollar value
- Upward trend in CRM/quote register management and closure rates
- KPI achievement across the inside sales team
Required Experience and Skills:
- Proven leadership experience in managing an inside sales team, with a strong track record of meeting sales targets.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and the ability to oversee sales data and reporting.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with field sales teams and managers.
- Sales process management skills, including pricing strategies, margin management, and quoting/closing techniques.
- A results-driven mindset with a focus on coaching team members to success and achieving organizational goals.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer or in meetings.
- Occasional light lifting (up to 25 lbs) for moving sales materials.
- Strong mental acuity and attention to detail to manage sales data, KPIs, and team performance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle the pressure of meeting sales targets and deadlines.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
