JOB OVERVIEW:
Leading manufacturer is seeking to fill a Customer Service Representative position in its Huger, SC steel coil processing plant.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- BS degree in related field preferred or 3-5 years equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years customer service experience preferred (steel industry knowledge a plus)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Distinct aptitudes to perform job duties with care, commitment, passion and pride;
- Dependability to be consistently at work and on time with ability to work overtime;
- Intermediate reading, writing and math skills with ability to calculate figures and amounts;
- Proficient Microsoft Office (including Excel) software experience;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong customer service orientation;
- Good time management and problem-solving skills;
- Close visual acuity; verbal interaction skills, light/medium lifting capability (up to 20 lbs.) with ability to sit for extended periods.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Excellent assistance and communication to customers;
- Effective customer complaint resolution;
- Operational, detailed records maintenance while maintaining a customer satisfaction mindset;
