The Parts Counterperson/Sales Consultant sells automotive parts by taking and clarifying customer and technician orders.

Key Responsibilities

Assists customers and technicians with selecting and ordering proper parts.
Completes sales by entering purchased items into sales/inventory system.
Notifies Parts Manager when order points have been reached.
Receives and stocks items and ensures they are stocked in the correct location.
Receives returned items and inspects them for re-stocking or return to the supplier.
Answers Parts Department telephone calls promptly and professionally.
Maintains Parts Department in a clean, organized manner.
Stays abreast of new technical information and technology by attending required/recommended manufacturer training.

Prior auto dealership parts experience, GM experience preferred.
DMS proficiency, DealerTrack preferred.
Excellent communication skills and a desire to provide a high level of customer service.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
