The Showroom Salesperson assists customers over the phone or in the showroom environment by demonstrating, promoting, and suggesting products and services to suit the needs of their project. They also follow up on websites, social media, and trade show generated leads, providing project consultation and generating quotes as well as quote follow-up.

1. Meet established sales and gross margin goals while ensuring customer satisfaction and representing the company with integrity and professionalism.

2. Greet all customers who enter the showroom and offer assistance.

3. Use a consultive sales process to ask good questions and recommend products and services best suited for a project.

4. Actively engage in formalized product and sales training as well as fully utilizing self-education materials.

5. Respond to leads and sales opportunities by scheduling appointments and meeting with potential customers for product demonstrations.

6. Create and present quotes to clients and follow up on quotes till they reach a won or lost status.

7. Enter quotes and orders into computer using established procedures, verifying accuracy of product, pricing, and handling instructions.

8. Gather and communicate necessary information for smooth transition of any warranty or service cases to post-sales team.

9. Work closely with manufacturer support, sales representatives, purchasing agents, shop, warehouse, shipping, and service personnel to provide accurate, complete, and timely delivery of products to customers.

10. Respond to customer product inquiries, complaints, and product service needs, and follows up on messages, back orders, defective material, order entry errors, and delivery errors.

11. Assist with special projects as requested and required.

12. Participate in continuing education and training by attending sales meetings, factory tours, and trade shows.

13. Meet goals and GM$ expectations as determined by Sales Manager

14. Perform additional duties as required or requested
