Summary of position/Objective:
The Director of Sales and Relationships primary responsibility is to establish relationships with external referral sources to support growth in TTR Comprehensive Life Services, in accordance with TTR business plan.
The Director of Sales and Relationships will manage all aspects of the referral process from marketing, sourcing, referral tracking/reporting, assessments for all new services.

- Adhere to and uphold To The Rescue’s values and policies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with referral agencies and funders.
- Identify and maintain current information about community resources that may benefit program participants.
- Track referrals by program and provide numbers by program as determined
- Promote and adhere to all To The Rescue safety practices and policies.
- Ensures prompt and effective communication with internal stakeholders.
- Plan and Lead business development in accordance with business plan
- Responsible for completion of monthly plan sales plan
- Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships for pathway for member recruitment
- Responsible to recruit members and clients for services
- Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships for employee candidate pathways
- Responsible for recruiting employees when needed for program growth
- Responsible for planning and hosting events which promote TTR services and employment opportunities
- Responsible to navigate members through the intake system to then transition to the case manager and intake team
- Responsible for occupancy in accordance with business plan measure
- Responsible for business development, new lead generation, funding source opportunities
- Always represent To The Rescue in a positive and professional manner to all clients, coworkers, families and the public.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Competencies/Qualifications/Education:
- Understanding of the sales process
- Understanding and ability to create strong relationships
- Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
- Have knowledge of auditing and monitoring procedures.
- Have working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations affecting Iowa.
- Have working knowledge of privacy laws and regulations.
- Must possess strong leadership skills.
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and provide instruction and direction to employees on maintaining compliance with policies, rules and procedures.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office that includes Word, Excel, and the ability to learn computer programs for scheduling and timekeeping.
- Ability to respond well under pressure.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work or related field and/or four or more years of related experience.
Certificates/Licenses/Registration:
The employee shall possess a valid driver’s license and must be eligible for the agency’s vehicle insurance and provide proof of private vehicle coverage.
Work Hours:
Hours are varied depending on the needs of the organization. This may include, but is not limited to days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Work Environment:
The work environment is consistent with similar office environment settings.

Travel:
Frequent travel within a 25-mile radius is expected for this position. Occasionally travel beyond a 25-mile radius may be required, including out of state travel.
