Air Compressor Sales Engineer
Summary: Responsible for selling complex technological products or services to businesses. The Sales Engineer will serve customers by identifying their needs, engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively drives sales and business development.
- Formulates strategies to grow sales revenue, market share and customer satisfaction in assigned territory.
- Serves as a liaison and advocate between the customer and the organization.
- Prepares and delivers technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers.
- Confers with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements.
- Collaborates with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
- Secures and renews orders and arranges delivery.
- Plans and modifies products to meet customer needs.
- Helps clients solve problems with installed equipment.
- Recommends improved materials or machinery to customers and shows how changes will lower costs or increase production.
- Helps in researching and developing new products.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

- Effective sales competency
- Technical aptitude with air compression and rotating equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of technical products, rotating equipment, air compression products and their applications
- Knowledge of industrial distribution models or multi step distribution preferred
- Advocates a safety-first attitude in all aspects of position.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 software; SAP experience preferred.
Education: bachelor’s degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or three to five years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $87,000.00 per year
