About the position:
The Sales Trainee position is designed to equip you with the essential skills and knowledge to eventually thrive as a Regional Sales Manager. As a Sales Trainee, you'll learn about our company, industry-specific practices, and our proven sales processes; all aimed at preparing you for a successful career as a Regional Sales Manager.
Qualifications:
- Sales experience is neither required nor discouraged.
- Must be engaging and memorable. If you are the type of person whom others are drawn to and seek leadership from, this may be a great opportunity for you.
- Must be compelling. Have you consistently been able to get people to adopt your perspective through a balance of empathy and passion?
- Must be a high achiever. Are you someone who believes “if it's worth doing, it's worth doing right?” Were you involved in extra-curriculars? If so, were you passionate or passive in your participation?
- A high level of organization and discipline is required to excel as a Sales Trainee, and ultimately as a Regional Sales Manager. Candidates must have the ability to display consistent effort toward daily, weekly and monthly tasks.
- Candidate must work well with a team.
- Must be articulate and be able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing.
- Must be adept in Microsoft office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint—although we'll provide additional training in these areas if necessary.
- Must be willing to travel up to 120 overnights per year, and be able to travel into Canada.
