Power Systems West has sold and serviced small engines and generators throughout the Western United States since 1955 through five locations and a network of more than 500 dealers. Power Systems West locations include Portland, Oregon, Boise, Idaho, Seattle, Washington, Salt Lake City, Utah, and Denver Colorado. All locations offer 24/7 emergency service for power failures and unplanned outages.

Our Portland Service Team is part of our larger Service Organization that is made up of 5 teams, 40+ technicians and maintains over 6,000 generator maintenance contracts. Our customers, field technicians and service management team rely heavily on the support of our team of service coordinators. Our Power Systems division is seeking an experiencedService Coordinator in Fife, WAto provide excellent customer service, generate new business, develop and maintain existing business, and process warranty claims as well as assisting customers during walk-ins.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Processing of warranty claims
  • Opening work orders
  • Researching and ordering parts for service jobs, shop and field
  • Providing excellent customer service when answering phones and helping walk-in customers
  • Performing regular office duties, posting timesheets, and creating new job files
  • Working closely with our field technicians, service managers and clients to ensure timely deadlines are met.
  • Ensure that we are delivering Safety, Quality, Integrity to our customers and team members.
  • Ability to prioritize and work in various software platforms
  • Project management and Account Management
  • Ability to step in and lead when needed technician meetings and client meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary range for this position is $50,000-$70,000 annually.

Opportunity for a discretionary year end bonus.

Experience and Skills:

  • Experience with warranties, preferred
  • Experience with Premier operating system, preferred
  • Excellent computer knowledge/skills,
  • Strong Communication, Phone and Customer service skills
  • Flexibility, capable of multi-tasking, and ability to work in a fast paced team environment
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Accuracy in data input
  • Providing excellent customer service when working with the team and our clients
  • Ability to step in and lead when needed technician meetings and client meetings
