We have an excellent opportunity for a Ready-Mix Operations Manager in, the Willamette Valley, OR!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Directs operation and maintenance of concrete production. Assures that work is in conformity with federal and state standards, accepted principles of design and engineering, and available funds.

  • Direct and supervise personnel at plants (drivers, etc.)

  • Responsible for operating efficiencies and site profits.

  • Responsible plant capital improvement projects.

  • Ensure the plant and personnel are operating safely.

  • Work with Ready Mix Technical and Sales Manager and SMA Manager through daily operations to include but not limited to: Safety, Production and Quality.

  • Assist in resolving employee problems.

  • Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with difficult people under high stress situations. Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations & act courteous/respectful of others.

  • Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.)

  • Monitor and discuss production problems with co-workers and managers/supervisors

  • Ensure MSHA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulation compliance, Lockout/Tagout.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • Management experience.

  • Concrete production and maintenance experience.

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam and drug screen.

  • Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customers.
