Job Description
The Solutions Sales Consultant is responsible for influencing departmental and divisional sales goals of moderate complexity and size that drive revenue. The role requires that you maintain knowledge and expertise of Managed IT solutions. This role will drive business strategy and revenue growth within the solutions categories you support. You will support corporate initiatives and philosophies and meet acceptable standards of key performance indicators.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities.
- Lead Generation: Develop and implement effective lead generation strategies to identify and engage prospective clients/customers.
- Partnership Development: Explore and establish strategic partnerships to enhance our market presence and facilitate business growth.
- Networking: Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand our business network
- Manage sales funnel to achieve individual, divisional, and/or sales team goals.
- Take lead on technical discovery and opportunity triage for the solutions team.
- Discover, design, propose, and sell products and services within Marcos approved product portfolio.
- Responsible for standardized documentation of technical discoveries and intakes from customers to better determine customer needs and efficiencies
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of company products and services, Marco sales processes, markets, trends, competitors, and clients to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct effective sales presentations and demonstrations of products and solutions offered by Marco.
- Completes discovery calls with clients.
- Promote cross selling opportunities with other sales divisions and other sales support personnel.
- Responsible for the full CRM lifecycle- from receiving cases and responding to cases through solution proposals and establishment of KPI's for opportunities
- Attend project management calls to ensure products sold meet customer expectations.
- Strive for self-improvement by establishing and working to reach professional and personal development goals.
- Ability to improve and optimize processes and product offerings.
- Develop divisional business plans to increase sales and market penetration.
- Manage the required non-traditional work hours to meet job duties and responsibilities.
- Completes some transactional orders within existing accounts.
- Works to complete sales and design for both new, existing, and renewing opportunities.
- Maintains full awareness of manufacturer and vendor programs and offerings.
- Participate in obtaining and retaining sales certification.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's degree in a sales/marketing program and three years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Driver's License, proof of personal insurance, and an acceptable driving record.

- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external clients.
