We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outside sales, technical sales, and business development. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, the ability to analyze market trends, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and fostering relationships with clients to achieve revenue targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive market growth and increase revenue.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective goals.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with key clients while maintaining strong relationships.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials that align with sales objectives.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Foster a customer-centric culture within the sales team to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about industry developments and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong technical sales background is preferred; familiarity with relevant products or services is a plus.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
- Exceptional analytical skills to assess market data and make informed decisions.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in business development and expanding market presence.
- Outstanding customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Prepares reports as requested: Weekly Reports, Monthly P&L, Quarterly Action Plans, Forecasting, Str Analysis and Annual RFP/Budget and Business Plan process.
- Facilitates and participates weekly and monthly sales meetings with ownership and Yotel HQ.
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
