Sales Representative at Home Care Supply Store

Home Care Supply is a leading home renovations supply store that provides high-quality products and exceptional customer service. We pride ourselves in ensuring that our customers are satisfied with their purchases and have a positive shopping experience. We are currently seeking a skilled Sales Representative to join our team in our Barrie, Ontario location and contribute to our growth and success.

Responsibilities:

  • - Welcome and assist customers with their inquiries and product selection
  • - Provide expert advice on our products and services
  • - Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
  • - Process special orders and transfers, and follow up with customers when their orders arrive
  • - Conduct inventory counts and order products to ensure adequate stock levels
  • - Achieve and exceed sales targets and goals
  • - Keep up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and market developments
  • - Collaborate with team members to create an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers
  • - Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • - High school diploma or equivalent
  • - Prior experience in sales, customer service, or retail
  • - Knowledge of home renovations products and trends preferred
  • - Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • - Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • - Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed
  • - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.00-$22.00 per hour

Day range:

  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Shift:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Afternoon shift
  • Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Vaughan, reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • sales: 1 year (preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Shift availability:

  • Day Shift (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Additional pay:

  • Commission pay
