Job Description
As the Team Lead –Sales Support, you will lead a team of Sales Support professionals within our CT&I Business Unit and ensure we are delivering optimal support to the sales process, from application up to (But not including) contract activation You will be responsible for overseeing the process and systems associated with Sales Support in addition to the general performance management of the team, ensuring all SLAs and performance goals are met. This team is tasked with completing quick and accurate documentation preparation, distribution, follow-up, and receipt of contracts for action in line with operations processes and vendor agreements. This position will interact with internal and external clients in order to facilitate the successful onboarding of new business.

Day to Day
- Lead a team of Sales Support Analysts and provide guidance in their day to day functions, including assisting with resolution of escalated contract issues
- Mentoring and development of team members through coaching, monitoring of activity, and ensuring adherence to all DLL policies, practices, and procedures
- Performance Management responsibilities, including development and execution of DLL Core Values with members, administration of timekeeping duties, and performance appraisals
- Manage and process transactional aspects of the Structured Sales Support workflow from Application through preparation for of Contract Activation
- Ensures that Sales Support Analysts are proactively supporting the External Sales and Inside Sales team with administration while commercial teams focus on origination
- Work with your team and other leaders to improve processes and performance through Continuous Process Improvement methods
- Assist with system enhancement testing and implementation when needed
- Act as Department liaison on matters involving other areas of the company
- Maintain high-level understanding of the vendor programs and all processes
- Receive and, when necessary, handle customer queries
- Analyze the client intentions/needs in close cooperation with sales and translate the client’s needs into a correct and timely solution
- Able to estimate opportunities and threats with customers/vendors in close cooperation with sales, in order to maximize and optimize financial results
- Execute non-standard activities to ensure correct handling, implementing and output of incidents and exceptions

Essentials
- Bachelor’s degree a plus (or comparable business experience)
- Experience in a team leader role, including performance management and coaching
- Basic knowledge of accounting, processes and systems
- Industry knowledge of Construction, Transportation, and Industrial a plus
- Primarily focused on supporting the operations process under supervision of the Director of Contract Management
- Character of interaction with others is mostly instructional or informative
- Ability to think within the operational rules, regulations and processes and make recommendations on improvements wherever applicable
- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset

Applicable Pay Range
$68,448 - $102,673
DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.
This position is subject to the terms of DLL’s compensation plans and policies. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, pension plan, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are subject to eligibility.
