Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Brand Technical Specialist, you'll work closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM's industry leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Client Strategy Design: Creating client strategies for Data & AI infrastructure.
  • Solution Definition: Defining IBM Data & AI solutions that enhance technology stacks.
  • Educational Support: Providing proof of concepts and simplifying complex topics to educate clients.
  • Credibility Building: Establishing credibility and trust to facilitate the closure of intricate Cloud tech deals.
  • Actively develop and progress qualified opportunities with the IBM Sales Team
  • Act as a deep technical expert in sales opportunities and leverage your experience to make presales engagements successful.
  • Collaborate with other internal IBM teams to drive unmatched customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain an understanding of the client’s industry, including industry trends, industry business processes.
  • Deliver solution workshops, product demonstrations, technical education, and Proof of Concepts while articulating business value for our Data & AI solutions.
  • Collaborate with IBM sales teams to define, design, and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions.
  • Support customers across the sales cycle.
  • Assist with Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Information (RFI) and other technical questionnaires.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of Data &AI technical pre-sales.
  • Data Integration, Transformation, Governance, Master Data Management, Data Science, Business Intelligence Analytics.
  • Able to code in Python, R.
  • Experience with IBM solutions minimum 5 years such as Cloud Pak for Data, IBM information Server, IBM MDM, IBM Knowledge Catalog.
  • Mandatory fluent in French and experience working with large enterprise in Quebec.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Experience in being practitioner in the field Generative AI, Involved in the Data & AI community in Quebec and Canada.
  • Experience working in a business partner eco-system.
  • Involved in complex sales cycles involving multiple key stakeholders.
