Director of Marketing

Overview:

The Director of Marketing responsible for presenting and selling the community to prospective residents. Acting as the lead sales professional, this position manages all aspects of the sales process, from inquiry to deposit to move-in including make ready.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Person to join our team. As the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and increase customer engagement. This is role that requires a strong understanding of marketing principles for Senior living facilities.

Responsibilities:

1. Manages the occupancy process from first inquiry to receipt of deposit to move-in as it relates to the presentation, negotiation and promotion of the facility to that individual and/or family.

2. Works with the prospective resident, family members and key influencers to facilitate a timely and beneficial commitment to the facility.

3. Manages all information relating to the prospective resident/inquiry and maintains clear verbal and written communication regarding prospective residents with the Independent Living Director and Executive Director.

4. Accurately documents all aspects of the sales process for all contacts and prospective residents in the leads management system, REPS.

5. Promotes the sales process through ongoing contact with prospective residents via telephone, personal visits, presentations and home visit activities, as appropriate.

6. Provides Director's and COO planning information about opportunities or challenges, to be used in the development of strategies for maintaining optimal occupancy levels.

7. Effectively communicates all documents related to residency, such as Residency Agreements.

8. Conducts regular sales appointments within the facility with prospective residents.

9. Participates in and helps plan community events for the purposes of increasing the sales pipeline resulting in future move-ins.

10. Conducts presentations at community sales events.

11. Identifies prospective leads through a variety of referrals, such as online and phone inquiries, face-to-face interactions and advertising leads.

12. Responsible for the quarterly marketing plan.

13. Participates in all sales training opportunities identified by the Directors and COO.

Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field degree preferred
- Proven experience in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, advertising channels, and marketing automation tools
- Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to create engaging content across various mediums
- Proficient in performance marketing techniques, including SEO, SEM, and email marketing
- Experience managing print advertising campaigns is a plus
QUALIFICATIONS:

1. : Associate’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations or related field of study or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

2. 3-5 years experience in a marketing or sales position, preferably in a senior living or healthcare environment. Detail oriented and excellent organizational and follow through skills. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

3. Ability to effectively engage and build relationships with customers. Ability to work independently, as well as with a team. Ability to understand customers’ needs and change strategies or tactics to meet those needs during the sales process.

4. Bilingual preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
