About the Role
As the Account Manager II, you will work within a customer focus team assigned to an account or a group of accounts and is responsible for the daily support, leadership of the account needs and the interaction between Sales and the internal Watlow teams. Primary focus is the development of quote proposals, evaluating account profitability and overall health, proactive communication, and management of all manners of commercial and technical issues.
In the role of Account Manager II, you would be located at any of our facilities or remote.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Takes proactive role in providing the daily support and management of the account needs and ensures the account requirements are addressed within the business.
- Understands selected build plans to best provide forecasting data for incoming sales during sales operating financial planning (SOFP) processes.
- Maintains and grows selected accounts, manage commercial topics including terms, pricing guidelines, and stocking agreements.
- Leads team in Strategic Account Planning (SAP) activity.
- Participates in periodic customer business reviews.
- Monitors, evaluates, and responds to customer complaints, application problems, returns and technical support.
- Reviews customer specs for compliance, accuracy, feasibility and provide quotations per customer request.
- Provides customer scorecard management and reporting to the organization.
- Determines, Manages, translates, and communicates customer special requirements.
- Executes strategy with stakeholders to maximize customer growth and profitability for assigned customers.
- Recommends additional products and services that benefit the account profitability and success.
- Manage Contract manufacturers network for Raving Fan Account.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent customer focus experience of 5-8 years.
- Project Management
- At least 2 years’ experience in Customer Service role, Product Specialist or related roles.
- Negotiation skills
- Forecasting and market cycle awareness
- Quote generation and pricing execution.
- Customer research and profiling
- CRM and ERP
