Job Description
We are currently looking for an Account Manager, who manages the sales of products within an assigned territory achieving established sales volume and dealer coverage objectives. Sales responsibilities will include a combination of retail and distribution accounts. This position will reside in Northeast US.
What you’ll do:
- Analyze existing account performance, sales potential, and territorial coverage requirements.
- Manage relationships with our distribution partners who are responsible for servicing accounts purchasing our products.
- Prepare and recommend selling expense budgets for review and approval by Director, Sales. Operates within the MDF guidelines and approved budgets.
- Plan and conduct sales calls in keeping with established call frequency to properly service account portfolio and develop new accounts.
- Maintain awareness of all policies related to shipping charges, inventory balancing, terms of payment, advertising rebates, return authorizations, and other related terms. Conducts all sales activity in strict adherence to guidelines published.
- Perform assigned responsibilities within established budgets and in accordance with reimbursable expense policies.
- Submit required call reports, sell through, market intelligence reports, and any other data requested by management.
- Solve problems with individual dealers in conjunction with Director, Sales.
- Provide advertising, promotional, and merchandising assistance to our retail partners maintaining an awareness and understanding of all current sales promotions.
- Conduct professional presentations using computer generated and other effective creative presentation tools.
- Maintain a sample account for account presentations and account training.
- Support virtual event execution, dealer events, and vertical shows and initiatives.
What you’ll need:
- 2-3 years’ experience in sales and marketing of consumer products.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Technical photographic knowledge is a plus.
- Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills.
- A creative thinker to overcome customer objections.
- Be willing to travel away from home office within the assigned territory which will include overnight stays.
- Working proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
